There are many traders involved in the world of forex trading and their trading activities are carried out on a global scale. In forex trading, there are various types of traders that traders can meet. There are various types and characters of traders in making buying and selling decisions. There are also different kinds of traders who have different trading periods.
These traders have their own basic analysis in determining the steps to pursue profits, and have consideration of the trading period.
The type of trading is closely related to the character of a forex trader. The character of each forex trader itself is also different from one another. That is why the types of trading are also different. However, there are still many forex traders who don't know what type of trader they really are. These are the types of traders:
Scalper
Scalpers are short-term traders who focus on positions for a period of a few seconds to a few minutes. The forex scalping strategy involves trading regularly throughout the day, with the aim of achieving small profits at the busiest (most liquid) times. Scalpers live life in the fast lane. Constantly exposed to processing new information and reacting to rapid market changes, the ideal trader is one who is observant, instinctive and intelligent but perseveres under pressure.
Day Trader
Day traders or day traders often trade within the intraday timeframe. This trading method can be considered as one of the short-term trading. But unlike scalping, generally a day trader only trades once a day and ends his trading at the close of one trading session. Day traders never hold trading positions for more than one day until they are exposed to a swap.
