How to Exit from Locking Transaction

Often some traders are trapped in positions that are against the direction or trend of the current price movement so that the positions they have opened suffer losses. When caught in a loss, some traders choose to let it go or cut the loss or lock the position. The choices made are of course based on strategy or comfort or the level of risk that can be tolerated by each trader.

There are some traders who choose to lock or often also called position hedging, they actually experience a dilemma when they want to open the lock. Many fear that their equity or balance will be depleted when unlocking. Many are also afraid to miss the price in opening the lock and try to predict (looking for predictions) where the price is the most extreme.

If a trader has experienced a locking that is big enough, like it or not, the trader has to deal with it. One way to open a locking is to treat the locking like opening a new position. Traders do not need to care about where the trader's locking position is. Traders don't need to figure out where the price will get stuck and reverse. Traders do not need to wait for the price to be below or above the locking position. The thing that traders need to find out is where is the direction or trend of the current price movement.

Same as opening a new position. The thing that traders know is where the current price trend or direction. For example, a trader knows from technical or fundamental analysis that the price trend for the next 4 hours is upwards. Traders will of course open new buy positions (open buy) and wait for new profits. Traders will liquidate (close) positions by selling (close buy) and vice versa if the price trend is downwards.
