How to Count Pips in XAUUSD
In forex trading, traders will encounter the term pip. Pip is the smallest unit of points to represent price changes in trading. The accumulated profits and losses experienced during the current position following the price can be calculated in pips, or in the plural it is called pips.
One pip point varies in value depending on the currency pair traded. One point for EUR/USD (1.2340) is the 4th point after point 1, while one point for USD/JPY (105.670) is the 2nd point after the point and for gold (1325.60) one point is the first point after the point.
One pip point varies in value depending on the currency pair traded.
On XAUUSD/ Gold, 1 pips is calculated, namely from 1 number after the comma:
Example: XAU/USD 1325.60 to 1325.70 is 1 pips
