Price action is an analysis technique by observing what price movement patterns are on the chart. These movements form the basis for all technical analysis of stocks, commodities and other assets. Many short-term traders only depend on price action and the formation of price trends extrapolated from the price action. This serves as a consideration in decision making.

All fundamental events that affect market prices will be reflected in price action. So usually, traders who do price action trading don't focus too much on fundamental analysis because the news will also have an effect on price action.
